Favorite: The Deal by Elle Kennedy

The Deal by Elle Kennedy is one of my all time favorities.

I read this book for the first time in early 2016. After that I've read The Deal so many times that I've lost the count. It's one of my favorite books to reread. Whenever I don't know what to read I read The Deal.

I have two versions of this book, the original paperback and e-book. I've read mainly e-book, because it's always with me. But the paperback is full of notes and it's heavily underlined. I am usually against "ruining" the actual books, but this one is a whole another thing.

I was lucky enough to meet Elle Kennedy few months ago in London and I had a total fan girl moment in front of her. I got my book signed and I'm absolutely on #teamGarret. She was really sweet person and I still can not believe that I have actually met her. I talked with her and she was pretty normal, like I didn't get whole celebrity vibe from her. She was so down to earth. Hope to meet her again someday.

Back to the actual story. Hannah has a crush, but she is having a hard time to act upon it. She needs to get her crush to notice her, but she needs help. Garrett, the big man of Campus, hockey star is the one to rush for her help. He needs some help too. They decide to make a deal, she helps him to pass the midterm and keep his place on team. So he helps her to get noticed. Seems simple, right? Wrong! Nothing is as simple as it seems. They both have their own demons to overcome. What happens when they start to have feelings towards each other?

The book has some really heavy themes, so a trigger warning might be on place. Hannah and Garrett navigates through some really hard situations. Sometimes the right way to act hurts more than the wrong way. You just need to decide what's best for now. I felt all the feelings while reading. That's a sign of an amazing book.

And good news for you all! This book is currently FREE on Amazon.
