Natasha Preston was really kind and gave me an ARC of her new book.
I have read Natasha Preston's books before. I absolutely adore Rocco, because who could resist these lines "I would die for you a thousand times over." or "I wouldn't change meeting you and falling in love with you." Okay, yeah. I need to post a review of that book sooner rather than later.
But back to Waking Up In Vegas. You all know the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", right? That's not the case always. Sometimes your mistakes, good ones or bad ones, follow you back home. That is what happens to Wren and Brody.
I rarely read blurbs and I didn't read this one, either. But the blurb states that Wren goes to Vegas with friends and siblings. And one day as she wokes up she realizes that she is married to his big brothers best friend. Brody and Wren has grown up together, but they can't stand to each other. They bicker all the time.
They head back home. In England they feel the need to keep the secret from their families. Things change, people change. It's easy to lie to others, but what about lying to yourself? It's a lot harder than you would think. Things change and Wren and Brody try to navigate in these new situations.
This book is something you want to read on a beach. Imagine the sun, the heath, sand under your toes. You have a drink in hand and a good book in another one. This book just screams summer read! It's easy, funny and lovable.
I fell in love with Wren and Brody. They are moody and always arguing on something. They feel. I really can't wait the next book of the series to come out. Take this book with you to your vacation. You won't regret it.
