It has been a while.
I know that it has been a while since I've posted. Sorry about that. Some things happened in my personal life, but everything starts to be back at normal now. So, enough for that. On the other hand, there is like two people who reads that blog..
Year 2020 will be amazing book year. I'm sure about that! I have no idea what books will be published this year. Well, except Just One Year by Penelope Ward. I saw an add in her Instagram a while ago and read the post. There was a blurb in post, so I read that too. I usually don't read blurbs, you know that, so I don't know why I read this one. But it sounded so good. February 24th can't come soon enough.
Yesterday there was a post about an anthology. It's a romance anthology and it's called Australia. It's available only a limited time and all royalties from this project will be donated to relief funds in Australia. I think there was thirty stories in this anthology. It's for a good cause, so I will definitely buy it. There are stories by authors that I really like.
Other than those two books I've no idea what to expect this year. I'm sure that there will be books published by authors I love and I will be reading a lot. I have read mainly romance these past years, so maybe this is the year when I start reading something else again. If you have some good recommendations on crime, dystopian or fantasy books I'd like to hear them.
Oh, I almost forgot. Of course there will be the third book of Anyone? -trilogy by Angela Scott. I have waited this book for years, at least it feels like it. I read the two first books in 2018. There hasn't been any update whether the book is really coming out this year. It stated at the end of the second book that next one will come out 2020. Let's hope that it's true. I'll admit that I can be a bit impatient from time to time, but I like to read good books and if it takes two years to write a good book then I'll gladly wait two years.
So far I've only read four books this year. I'm already behind on my Goodreads reading challenge. I feel awful, because I would love to read, but nothing holds my interest long enough. I partly blame my personal life, but still. I usually read around 10 books in every month and now I haven't read anything after January 10th. Kind of sucks. I have tons of books at my shelf and even more in my Kindle, why I can't concentrate long enough to read a book?
I'm also doing my local library's challenge. Plus there is this one popular challenge in my home country that I'm doing also. Both of these challenges are same type as Popsugars Reading Challenge. You know the drill, right? I'm sure I'll add same books for both of these challenges, if books just fit to prompts. I just need to find my reading mojo again.
